mmm - an evocative piece - For me merry-go-rounds hold the same macabre fascination as clowns.  
I am writing a piece on how our childhood experiences distort messages from those on whom we transfer our unfulfilled needs for Attention, Acceptance, Appreciation, Affection and Allowing.  I would love to use this photo as an illustration if I may.  I will attribute and put in a link to this site if you are OK with this.
